To get you into the holiday spirit, we have a giveaway for one of the new Febreze holiday candles! I was able to try out one of the candles and, even though I'm not a big candle-user, I really liked it. Enter below to win a Febreze holiday candle for yourself.

The Febreze holiday candles have a special odor-eliminating core, which means they clean unwanted odors out of the air as they burn. The candle's packaging describes, "The Febreze Core contains special odor eliminators that are released into the air as the candle burns to neutralize odors."
Normally I skip scented candles altogether, because the fragrance can be overpowering and can hang around in your home for a long time, even after you wish it had faded. The Febreze candle had a great smelling scent (fresh evergreen & snow) but it wasn't too strong. I used the candle in the kitchen while I did my cleaning, and it left a great fragrance that put me in the mood to listen to Christmas music! It didn't smell like Pine-Sol or other evergreen-scented scented products; it was pleasant, not pungent.
Febreze recommends that the candles be burned for a minimum of 1 hour at a time. I burned mine for 1 1/2 hours, and was surprised how little of the wax had been used up. The product packaging lists a burn time of 25-30 hours for each candle, which is a great value, considering that these candles eliminate the need to buy other odor-reducing products (air sprays, plug-ins, potpourri, etc.).
